Title image for schools websites, and their benefits Websites which help you get a better Ofsted report, attract more pupils to your school, help with local community, raise money for your school

School websites - which help you get a better Ofsted report, attract more pupils to your school, help with extended provision for the local community, raise money for your school and more. A service for ambitious headteachers.

  • Do not hide your light under a bushel. The world must know how good you are.
  • We will shout it from the rooftops, over the hills, and far away
  • we will blow your trumpet,
  • on the beaches, in the fields and in the streets.

This is how we can help you

1 Get an even better OFSTED report

Our websites collect in one place, and display efficiently, everything good you do in the school. This makes it easy for you to show the OFSTED inspectors everything you are proud of. (S)he cannot possibly overlook what you have to say.

2 Attract more pupils to your school

Your website will be consulted by parents who have to choose a school for their children. We make sure you appear in the best light and are easily found in Google.

3 Extended provision for the local community

We will build for you a website which displays what you have to offer (facilities, benefits, hours) and which records in words and pictures what you do. It will impress the local authority, and the Ofsted inspectors and will help to attract funding.

4 Raise money and get support for your next expensive project (e.g. Children's Centre, new building, new sports facility, ...)

Our website will help you raise money. Describe your project in detail. List the benefits for the community, set out your plans, record your progress and invite money and support. Thank your donors (business or private) on your website and by linking from your website to theirs. The websites we create are thus a valuable fund raising asset for you.

When writing letters or e-mails requesting support and money, always refer to your web address. Your letters have to be brief, otherwise they will not be read, but on your web site you have as much space as you need, you can argue your case in detail, and we will help you to say it effectively.

5 Gain more awards for your school

Our websites collect and publicise what you do to merit these awards. Make the award judges aware of your achievements. Keep beating the drum.

6 Proud and happy children

Our websites encourage the children and please their parents by publishing the children's best work on your website.

7 Improve school discipline

Our websites encourage children to participate in the making of the site. The children submit work for publication to their teachers, who then e-mail it to us. We place it on your website: no hassle for your teachers. By having positive aspirations and a positive outlet for their energy the children will be less tempted to draw attention to themselves by causing havoc in your school.

8 Make parents sing your praises

Our websites help you to communicate with parents. They make sure parents know about the good work you are doing. At inspection time you will gain points for good parent-school relations. Other parents will hear from their friends and you will gain more pupils in future years.

9 Make your teachers happy

Our websites offer you a page entitled "In praise of teachers", or "Honour thy teacher". This will record anything positive that a teacher has done or achieved.

For example:

  • training completed
  • extra qualifications (Advanced Skills Teacher, etc)
  • particularly impressive displays
  • an initiative
  • clubs
  • BIG THANKS (eg Laura does all the shopping for the breakfast club)

Our website thus gives recognition to teachers for the hard work they are doing. Happy teachers are good for your school. They will work even harder and teach even better, they will be off sick less often. Children, parents and Ofsted inspectors will be happier as a result. Teachers who are thinking of applying to your school will see on your website what you are doing for your teachers; you will therefore get more applications and be able to choose better teachers - coming to you 'in the pursuit of happiness' (smiles!). If you show your respect for your teachers on your website, children and parents will also respect them more and perform and behave better (school discipline).

10 Reduce stress on teachers

We create and maintain your website. Your teachers have enough to do with teaching and looking after the children, i.e. making your school a success. They do not need the stress of having to publicise your good work on your website or to have to deal with the Internet technicalities. We do all this for them and deal with all the technical problems involved. Just send us your information by email: we'll do the rest.

However, if you prefer to do your own updates, we can also create a website which allows your staff to change contents while protecting the site from being damaged by inexpert hands. Such websites are more expensive to construct, but less expensive to run. Your decision depends on whether you expect to make many changes or few, and whether you have staff with spare time on their hands to do this work. The technical term for such sites is CMS (content management system).

11 Project your achievements to the world

Our websites tell the world how good you are, 24 hours a day, every day of the year, immediately. By contrast, the local newspaper will pick up only the occasional success. The website we create for you will be your own newspaper, with unlimited space, and can be updated as often as you please. Everything good you do deserves to be recorded and made known, so that you can reap your rewards:

  • a good Ofsted report:
  • awards
  • higher status
  • more money
  • better teachers applying for jobs with you
  • better parents
  • more and better pupils
  • and 'that expensive new facility'
12 Promote your school
  • Our websites promote your school, just as businesses promote their brands.
  • Do not hide your light under a bushel. The world must know how good you are.
  • We will shout it from the rooftops, yea e'en over the hills, and far away.
  • We will blow your trumpet: we will blow it on the beaches, on the landing grounds, in the fields and in the streets. Your very own Hallelujah chorus:

"Come to this school - look at the evidence, our website:
this school is the greatest."

13 Raise the status of your school

Our websites help you raise the status of your School. Publicise what you are doing to merit this recognition. This publicity will motivate you and your teachers, it will stimulate your efforts, and make it easier for you to demonstrate that you deserve the desired status.

14 Having one of our handcrafted websites will in itself be a status symbol, an important asset for your school.
  • Our websites are designed to help you realise your ambitions.
  • We create them and keep them up to date.
  • We do all the work. Let us worry about the technicalities.
  • You can concentrate on your real task: teaching, and running your school, while we blow your trumpet.

Our dedication to the interests of our clients is unmatched.

A new service for schools

Every child matters

"Every child matters" government initiative. Point 5: "Achieve economic well-being". Many schools struggle to deliver on this objective. We help them by offering talks / interactive presentations to raise awareness of basic economic concepts and behaviours in children. They are given by business people who can draw on a life-time of experience in practical business life. Children can ask questions. Teachers can request new topics to be added to our portfolio. Click here for more details.

We also make a contribution to community cohesion by offering talks / presentations on India:

  • Food
  • Dance
  • Music
  • Customs
  • Religious festivals
  • Stories
  • Sari fashion show
  • etc
